If you are quoting directly you must attribute and acknowledge quotes with quotation marks. If you are paraphrasing, then it must be a legitimate paraphrase, completely in your own words, with credit still explicitly given for the source of the ideas. Did you consider using the material from part 6 of CIH? I'm thinking especially of "Early Radio" by Susan Douglas. She is perhaps the most important living scholar on that aspect of radio, so what she has to say carries a lot of weight. -- JM
